| Tax Engine |
- Revised for IRS's 2008 CPI adjustment.
|
| General |
- Updated Price Indices data
- Updated sample data
- Updated user guide and help files
- The “By Goal” strategy wizard now alerts the user if the client holds ISOs and the chosen goal-based strategy was implemented with the ‘Exercise ISOs to AMT limit afterwards’ strategy that there may be instances where some of the ISOs would need to be manually disqualified to achieve the chosen goal-based strategy during a particular year.

| Migration and Roll-Over Function Enhancements |
- Users can now directly import data from any StockOpter® Pro workbook with an initial model year of 2003 or later without doing any roll-over before hand. The new migration function imports all the data "as is" with no forced rollover.
- StockOpter® Pro 3.6 supports “Initial Year of Model" beginning in 2003 (by either migration or Assumption sheet input). If the user imports, selects or opens a StockOpter® workbook with an initial model year earlier than 2008 they will be warned that tax calculations may be incorrect.
- Data Rollover now lets the user specify which Case sheet they want to use for making the roll-over. Previous versions of StockOpter® Pro used the “exercise and sale” values on the imported BaseCase sheet to update the Grant Inventory numbers in column B of the new BaseCase sheet.
|
| Installation Improvements |
- Upon installation the user is alerted of the requirements for installing StockOpter® Pro. These requirements include installing under the users logon account, the need for administrative rights to the registry and the inability to install StockOpter® Pro on a server or remotely accessed PC.
- Users of v3.6 are now authorized to use any workbooks created by versions of StockOpter® Pro starting with v3.0.
